    Hi,
    I’m getting this error :
    python demo.py image ../Models/2803/gti_resnet50_fc1000_2803_2chip.model ../Data/Image_bmp_c20/bridges.jpg
    Using /home/ai/plai/plai/GTISDK-Linux_x86_64_v5.0.4.0/GTISDK-Linux_x86_64_v5.0.4.0/Apps/Python/libGTILibrary.so
    Running on a 64-bit machine
    GTI SDK 5.0.4.0, build on: Feb 7 2020

    AttributeError: ‘NoneType’ object has no attribute ‘decode’

    Hi Paul, can you please try jr = json.loads(jd) ? based on your python version there might be such an issue of not recognizing decode function.

    Actually, I’d also like to have the following info :
    1) debug log -> use export GTI_LOG_LEVEL=5; python demo.py …
    2) did you use two USB devices ? this model requires two GTI 2803 chips to run. The error you’ve mentioned could happen if the model and the image are not loaded properly.
    3) can you try .bin input files instead of .jpg.

    solved,
    This message was due to a bad usb port. Using another port solved the issue
